Hello!

I am currently in the second year of pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT, advised by professor Christina Delimitrou. My interests lie in Computer Architecture and Computer Systems, and I am exploring their application in the Cloud Computing domain.

Before joining MIT, I completed my undergraduate studies at the Computer Science Department of the University of Crete. I also spent one semester at UPC in Barcelona, where I was also a Visiting Junior Researcher at BSC.

Projects

SPARROW-SV (Bachelor’s thesis)

• Implemented a SIMD unit in SystemVerilog and integrated it into an industry-proven RISC-V processor (Veer EH1 RISC-V Core by Western Digital)
• Operated Logical Synthesis, area and timing analysis of the design with EDA tools (DesignCompiler)

Ka-chow

• Final project for the class [6.5930] Hardware Architecture for Deep Learning, 3-member group project
• Implemented a simulation of the performance of a photonics accelerator on CiMLoop

AlphaCompiler

• 3-member group project
• Implemented a Compiler and a Virtual Machine for a JavaScript-like language (written in C)
